I often find myself caught between the rocks of perfection and the vortex of creativity, most recently with words. If not for the drudgery of typewriters and Wite-Out, I might have pursued writing in college. Instead, I earned degrees in art history and later graphic design. Since 2008, I have co-published and produced a monthly print magazine covering arts and culture in Cincinnati, Ohio. In recent years, I edited three novels for a friend and realized, after dabbling for decades, that I wanted to paint with words of my own. Despite my knee-knocking stage fright, I have begun to read my work at a local open-mic night.
Stay tuned for an occasional blog post and updates on my publishing journey. I am looking forward to many rejections in the near future.
